I am Alvaro. I was born in Lima, but I have been living in Santiago de Chile since 2016. I have no siblings so I am an only child.  I studied high school and also a technical career in Peru. I like to run and play soccer, I also play volleyball but not so often. I enjoy reading in my free time, but I also like to watch horror movies. I worked selling sportswear for a long time and now I sell watches.

I live in the commune of El Bosque and currently live with my mother and her husband and I like the public transportation in this city because it allows me to get around thanks to the subway and buses, although the fare is expensive.

My parents bought it for my 13th birthday, it was something I had been asking for a long time but they wanted to see my final grades to give it to me. This device can be used connected to the TV, although due to the advance of technology now it can be used in any computer and some devices try to replace its function. I used to use it very often after school and now I use it in my free time when the TV is not busy or when I remember that it still exists. It is better to enjoy this device in company although you also have a good time playing alone. I liked to use it because it had games ranging from adventure, to sports, as well as racing. Life without its existence would be boring for many people in the world.

 Journalism is a key tool in society. It provides information that helps people to know their environment and understand it. The media itself plays an important role since it creates discourses that end up influencing people. That is why it is necessary to have a lot of responsibility when it comes to informing about contingent issues.  I see myself working with information with a lot of responsibility when it comes to transfer it, under different platforms so that it reaches people in a more plural, democratic and diverse way, it can be a difficult task to do but I feel that society deserves diverse opinions and thoughts that culturally enrich the whole country. Journalism is beneficial as long as the information provided is plural and truthful, it also helps to make political power transparent since journalism always has to be attentive to the movements that political power makes to take advantage of people who, without being informed, can come to understand the information ...

  It is a ceviche with squid chicharron, accompanied by corn, chifles which is dehydrated fried plantain and canchita which is fried corn.  You can use any fish, but in Chile we commonly use reineta. You have to have the fish in pieces, then add lemon juice from pica. To that you add julienned red onion, a little ginger to give it aroma and if you like it spicy, you can add some rocoto chunks, with this it is delicious. Some people add ajinomoto to intensify the flavor. It is served with parboiled sweet potato, cancha which is fried corn, chifles and if you like you can add the chicharron of squid that goes through a process of previous packing. The ceviche does not impact on health or at least there are no studies on that, since the fish is cooked with lemon juice that makes everything natural and without going through oils or processes with trans fats, perhaps the most dangerous is the chicharron, but this is fried with little oil.
